Create a positive new self image
Enhance positive thinking & action
Better manage and reduce stress
Learn how hypnosis and continued self-hypnosis can help you manage healthy eating habits and body confidence. A mid-1990s reanalysis of 18 hypnotic studies showed that psychotherapy clients who learned self-hypnosis lost twice as much weight as those who didn’t (and, in one study, kept it off two years after treatment ended), hypnotherapy has remained a well-kept weight loss secret. Utilizing mind-body approaches to eating habits can be as easy because changing our mind changes our brain!
“Hypnotherapists believe you have everything you need to succeed. You don’t really need another crash diet or the latest appetite suppressant …. You may not remember how scary it was the first time you tried to bike, but you kept practicing until you could ride automatically, without thought or effort.” Harvard Medical School and 2004 issue O, The Oprah Magazine
“When studied hypnosis increased weight loss by an average of 97% during treatment, and even more importantly, increased the effectiveness POST TREATMENT by over 146%. This shows that hypnosis works even better over time.” Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1996
“In a study of 60 women separated into hypnosis versus non-hypnosis groups, the groups using hypnosis lost an average of 17 pounds, while the non-hypnosis group lost an average of only .5 pounds.” Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1986
“When hypnosis sessions are added to various weight loss programs, the results are always more successful — more than 146% better over the long term.” Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1986
Hypnosis itself has been around for centuries: Egyptians in 1550 BC and Mesmer in 1770; Mozart composed the opera “Cosi fan tutte” while hypnotized, Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity was born during self-hypnosis; numerous current-day celebrities are fans of hypnosis (including Tiger Woods, Julia Roberts, Jackie Kennedy, Matt Damon, Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah.
How is hypnosis conducted? Hypnosis is performed by a trained practitioner who uses verbal cues to create mental images, whereby a state of calm and relaxation is induced to help the patient to cope better with anxiety or pain.
Imagine the right combination of relaxation, meditation, visualization, hypnosis and self-hypnosis, allowing you to feel greater inner peace.
